Welcome to The Startup Network

Africa is blessed with young, passionate and driven people that desire to make a difference in the world and to contribute to the transformation that Africa desperately needs. There are numerous startups that spring up throughout the length and breadth of the African continent but sadly many of these start-ups collapse shortly after becoming operational. The changes of entrepreneurship and start-ups particularly in Africa are overly daunting indeed primarily because of lack of information, requisite knowledge & technical knowhow, adequate skills set, exposure, experience, economic and infrastructural deficiencies, productive networks and adequate and low interest capital.

Though the challenges of start-ups are numerous, we at The Start-Up Network firmly believe that consistent effort at making available authentic information on startup and business resources, support service providers, events and programs, investors and funding agencies and opportunities for growth and investments will go a long way to mitigate some of these challenges.

At The Start-Up Network, we connect budding entrepreneurs and startups to resources, initiatives, investors and opportunities in and around Africa. We work with, recognize and celebrate the work and contributions of various startup stakeholders throughout the year.

Do you know of any start-up support organizations or start-up entrepreneur? Send us an email tsn@tanoe.org about them. Are you a start-up entrepreneur and need any assistance, contact us today here . We can’t wait to hear from you.
